I had to remodel my mom's rental property to sell, and I went with all Samsung and GE appliances. I am having a Ryan Home built, and I chose a level "A" refrigerator which is provided just for use and occupancy purposes for a "credit" of $1495 from the level "G" that was included in the house, so I can buy a Samsung. I plan on replacing the GE dishwasher with a Bosch too. I did not purchase a washer and dryer, I probably will go with either Samsung or LG there. I have learned that GE appliances can be so hit or miss, and in a rental environment, even more so. Towards the end of my tenure, I went with a combination of Kenmore, LG, Samsung and Whirlpool appliances. While I am content with the GE gas range I am getting, if it breaks outside of warranty, I know what brands I will be shopping.Mozart in Waldorfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13601030491674938785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8661396567591085337.post-50027324969817944972013-08-20T20:19:41.535-04:002013-08-20T20:19:41.535-04:00Cloud Clou: The more square looking ovens from GE ...Cloud Clou: The more square looking ovens from GE are the base models. Weirdly, the parts and labor come with a five-year warranty! I asked the service dude why it didn't come with a five-year warranty originally, but he just shrugged.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08019498088326619033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8661396567591085337.post-16923579267165950902013-08-12T17:13:29.802-04:002013-08-12T17:13:29.802-04:00Wow, for that kind of money and with the range hav...Wow, for that kind of money and with the range having a known issue that GE obviously doesn't care to accept accountability for... I think I'd be shopping for a new range. I hope you have better luck with the range after it's been repaired.Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17790926191971819040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8661396567591085337.post-63420588904169899702013-08-12T10:59:08.028-04:002013-08-12T10:59:08.028-04:00The GE Appliance dude came out this morning. Total cost is going to be around $370, including the exorbitant $100 call out fee. If you go to this web page and enter in your appliance model number, you can find out which parts apply to your oven. It is entirely possible that the glass is unchanged.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08019498088326619033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8661396567591085337.post-82806676257561956732013-08-12T08:06:17.264-04:002013-08-12T08:06:17.264-04:00Sorry to hear about your oven glass.

The previous models are now discontinued so hopefully they've fixed the glass issue. The oven looks different as well, the oven door window is squared instead of arched of the previous models.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07932438626039135368noreply@blogger.com
